East Fairfield used to be called Puddledock because of the deep mud in the streets each spring.1


Don Morey recalled that electricity first arrived in East Fairfield in 1923, when he was 12 years old. It seemed most special to Margaret Tierney, whose 86th birthday was only days away.2
