This is the first annual Fairfield Almanac. It will be updated yearly. Anyone who has Fairfield facts, from reliable a source, to contribute, please send the information to the school library. Students will enter these facts for you.
We made 45 gallons of syrup (sold to abbey for school breakfast, used for pancake celebration, 8th grade graduation gifts and thank you gifts for landowners who let us tap their trees) We helped buy books for maple sugaring unit/history of sugaring in Vermont School Community Garden Mini- $1000 grant helped us get our new garden out behind the parking lot High Tunnel - will be erected this summer once the site is prepared and the water line is dug Plant Sale made over $300 Garden is planted! Growing fall crops for harvest dinner and school lunches.
